New to Philadelphia Flavor 2 is a "Sandwich" chapter featuring classic hoagies and cheese steaks from Philadelphia legends Pat's Steaks and Tony Luke's, as well as unexpected sandwich offerings from Le Bec-Fin, White Dog Cafe, and The Saloon. Also new is a "Cocktail" chapter showcasing the coolest concoctions from the city's hottest bartenders and restaurants, including Bourbon Blue, Mixto, Dome Restaurant, and Denim Lounge.
From critically acclaimed four-star favorites to comforting neighborhood haunts, signature recipes were gathered from all areas of Philadelphia and from the surrounding area of southern New Jersey and Delaware. Star chefs, including Jim Coleman, Guillermo Pernot, Walter Staib, and Georges Perrier, add sparkle to the list of talented contributors from restaurants such as Azafran, Brasserie Perrier, Café Spice, Chloe, City Tavern, Davio's, Fork, Fountain, Rouge, Jake's, La Bonne Auberge, Novelty, Philadelphia Fish & Co., The Prime Rib, Ristorante Panorama, Rx, Solaris Grille, Toto, Twenty Manning, and Zanzibar Blue.
