Origin/Estate: China, India, Sri Lanka, and Kenya
Caffeine: Black, or fully fermented, tea produces about one-half the caffeine found in a comparably sized cup of coffee. Decaffeinated British Breakfast contains a miniscule amount of caffeine.
Tasting Notes: This is no mass-market blend, but a robust mixture of select teas that sets new taste standard for this classic beverage.
Preparation & Serving: Brew one level teaspoon of leaves or one tea bag per cup for two to four minutes. Excellent with a bit of milk.
Interesting Anecdotes: This blend is our version of the popular blend called “English Breakfast” which is a name tea marketers created to describe Britain’s popular morning blend. Usually this blend has a substantial amount of China teas as opposed to “Irish Breakfast” which has dominance of India teas.
