This innovative piece of cookware allows for simultaneous steaming and boiling and is perfect for steaming/boiling vegetables and pasta or lobster and corn.

The All-Clad Multi-Cooker features a satin-finish 18/10 stainless exterior, thick stainless/aluminum disk bottom for even heat distribution and an easy-to-clean, heavy gauge cooking surface. The cooking surface is hand-polished 18/10 stainless steel that will not react with food. The inner core is pure aluminum from the base to the sides. The three layers are bonded together for optimum heat conductivity.

All Clad's stainless collection features stay-cool handles, non-corrosive rivets, and sure-fitting lids, all made of stainless steel.

All Clad stainless can be used with any type of utensils and is dishwasher safe.

The All Clad Multi-Cooker measures 10" high with a 9 1/2" bottom.

I have never taken the time to really thank a company for providing a quality product, but this story needs to be told.

I purchased an All Clad 12 quart stainless steel Multi Cooker 59 for my husband this past Christmas. He is an amazing cook and was so happy with his gift that he proceeded to make soup at 10:30 pm on Christmas night! He was so excited to have a quality pot that he couldn't wait to use it!

This past Saturday (2-5-11), he was making a batch of jambalaya for a golf tournament he has every Super Bowl Sunday. Because the tee time was set for 7:30 am, he had to make the meal the night before. After preparing the rice, shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage, my husband sat on the couch waiting for the rice to soak in the water and he fell asleep. I woke up at 7:00 am to find or house filled with plumes of smoke and unfortunately our smoke detectors had failed. We immediately got our dog and ourselves out of the house. After opening all of the windows and ventilating the house, we were able to evaluate the damage. We are currently spending thousands of dollars to repair the smoke damage and even more money is being spent to wash and replace clothes, shoes etc.

The bottom line is, had my husband not used that All Clad pot and used our other "cheaper" pots, the house and our lives would have been at a much greater risk. A standard aluminum pot would have melted on that stove, and a fire would have been eminent. We are obviously upset about the damage to our house and possessions, but we are grateful that we did not suffer a loss of our lives or our dog's life - thanks to your product.
