| The Breville Nonstick Electric Wok combines the performance of a traditional wok on a gas burner with the convenience and control of an electric heating element. The 14" diameter, 6 quart capacity wok is 4" deep, giving you plenty of room to stir up a healthy, delicious meal anytime and anywhere.
The wok features a "butterfly" heating element with 1500 watts of power that delivers a high sear temperature of 425°. The heating element is sealed within the base of the wok, so it never touches your food. The wok sits in a detachable, high-grade polymer base that is dishwasher safe. This base includes rubber grips so the wok sits securely on your countertop. A temperature probe snaps securely into the base, giving you precise control with 15 temperature settings.
The nonstick wok surface is quadruple-coated with Titanium-infused, scratch resistant materials. This helps to prevent foods from sticking to the pan, allowing you to stir fry with or without oil. The durable nonstick coating also allows for the use of metal utensils without damage. A tempered glass lid lets you see what you're cooking, and a steam vent automatically adjusts for the ideal amount of moisture inside the pan.
The wok includes a spatula/slotted spoon stirring tool and recipe book.
