Submerge each plank in water for at least 30 minutes. Preheat your barbecue or grill to a medium-high heat (400-425° F). Place the soaked plank onto the grill and close the lid for a few minutes, just until the plank begins to smoke. Once the plank begins to smoke, place your food on it, close the grill's lid, and follow the temperature guide in the recipe your using. If the boards flame, douse them with water as needed or keep a spray bottle on hand. Once the food is cooked, serve your meal on the plank for a stunning presentation. Using tongs, place the plank on a separate serving board or platter and present to your guests.**Please note that planks will be extremely hot after cooking, so always be sure to use tongs, gloves or oven mitts to remove them from your grill.
