With slightly less citrus than a traditional margarita, the Charlie makes up for it with the gracefully tart sweetness of the raspberry purée, which pairs exceptionally well with chocolate fondue or a rich flan.

Serves 4

  • Cocktail ice cubes for shaking and serving
  • 2 ounces gold tequila
  • 1/4 ounce Harlequin orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lemon-Lime Juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Raspberry Purée
  • 1 lime slice for garnish
  1. Fill a tempered pint glass with ice and add the tequila, liqueur, lemon-lime juice, simple syrup, and raspberry purée. Cap the glass with a stainless-steel cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Pour both drink and ice into a balloon wineglass. Garnish with the lime slice and serve immediately.
