Cuisinart sets the standard. Cuisinart redefines the food processor, bringing this kitchen classic into the 21st Century with its sleek design and outstanding function. The primary differences between each machine are the bowl size and the motor. Optional accessories also vary by model.

The bowls on Cusinarts are made of Lexan, which is a very durable material. The bowls really resist any type of breakage. Bowls may be put into a dishwasher-however with extended exposure they will become cloudy in appearance.
The blades and discs on Cuisinarts are all made of stainless steel so they will not rust. While they may be put into a dishwasher it is not recommended as dishwashers may dull the blades. The dough blades are the only exception here because they are made of plastic.
