But when coffee beans are ground just before brewing, you ensure freshness and flavor with each pot. And with a thermal carafe, your coffee stays hot without burning.
The Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffeemaker features a burr grinder for a more flavorful, aromatic pot of coffee. Unlike blade grinders that unevenly chop your beans, a burr grinder will evenly crush and grind your beans, releasing their oils for a better tasting cup. The bean hopper will hold up to 8 ounces of beans, and the sealed lid prevents moisture from getting in.
The thermal carafe will keep your coffee hot for hours, so your last cup tastes just as good as the first. With traditional glass carafes and hot plates, your coffee can begin to over-heat and taste burnt. The thermal carafe eliminates this problem. So with no hot plates to keep warm, the coffeemaker will automatically shut off after brewing.
The Grind & Brew includes features that let you adjust each pot to your preference. You can select your coffee strength from strong, medium or mild. You can program the amount of coffee you want to grind from 2 to 12 cups, letting you control the intensity and volume of your coffee. You can also turn the grinder off so you can use your own pre-ground coffee.
A gold tone commercial style permanent filter and charcoal water filter are included for the purest, freshest tasting cup. The coffeemaker is has a digital clock and is 24 hour fully programmable. The Brew Pause feature lets you pour a cup before brewing is complete.
