Emile Henry
Emile Henry has been producing fine pottery in the hills of Southern Burgundy, France, for the past 150 years. While remaining faithful to its origins, and maintaining the special properties of the Burgundy clay, the company has introduced technological improvements (Ceradon ®) so that the dishes are more resistant to mechanical and thermal shocks.

This new process of producing Emile Henry bakeware helps the pieces be highly resistant to breakage. These items are able to go directly from the freezer to a traditional or microwave oven. The glazed coating will not craze or discolor the dish. The coating also makes it easy to clean, though each product is dishwasher safe.

The traditional Burgandy Clay still used by Emile Henry help to evenly distribute heat throughout the dish as well as keep food hot on the table.
