Clarification of Terms:

Program Frother: |
Frother Can be programmed to froth or steam for 3-120 seconds.
|

Program Grinder: |
Grinder can be programmed for different coffee amounts for specific users.
|
|
Program Hot Water: |
Hot water can be programmed for 1-6 ounces.
|
|
Program Cup: |
Cup amounts can be programmed for 1-16 ounces for specific users.
|
|
1 ThermoBlock System: |
Uses one thermoblock for both frothing and brewing. This translates into a 15-30 second delay between frothing and
brewing.

|
Dual ThermoBlock System: |
Uses separate thermoblocks for frothing and brewing. This translates into zero delay between frothing and brewing.
|
|
Claris Filter: |
Claris filter cartridge filters between 67% and 95% of calcium, chlorine, lead, copper and aluminum.
|
|
Clearyl Filter: |
Clearyl filter does the same as Claris filter but lasts longer.
|
|
frothXpress Plus: |
frothXpress Plus system. Also can be purchased separately to hook up to the E 8, F 7, and F 9.

Energy Saver Mode: |
The Z5, S7 Avantgarde, and S9 Avantgarde have an Energy Saving Mode. These machines normally keep operating temperatures
constant so that there is no warm-up time. Energy Saving Mode gives you the option to keep the operating temperature on
“standby” – requiring a slight warm-up period, but saving energy.

Bean Level Indicator: |
The Z5, S7 Avantgarde, and S9 Avantgarde have bean level indicators. It is a laser that keeps track of bean levels. The
machine will alert you when the bean level drops below this laser.
