Krups, the world-wide leader in small appliances, and Heineken, the leader in European Premium Imported Beer, have teamed up to introduce the BeerTender, the new standard in at-home beer consumption.

The Heineken DraughtKeg^TM system features an internal carbonator pressure unit, so each glass offers fresh, draft-like results and the right head of foam. The unit will also keep your beer fresh for up to 30 days.

The Krups BeerTender is a beer-tap system for your home to be used with the Heinekien 5 liter DraughtKeg. So now you can feel like a regular bartender when serving your guests "tap" beer from the BeerTender. The BeerTender features a silent cooling mechanism that will constantly cool your DraughtKeg and keep it at its ideal serving temperature.

An LCD panel will display the information you need to ensure a fresh, cool glass of beer each time. The display will tell you how full your Heineken DraughtKeg is with the 4 level indicator that blinks when the keg is almost empty. The LCD will show a countdown of the number of days since the keg was inserted and attached (press a button to reset each time you have a new keg). A temperature gauge will indicate the temperature of your beer, illuminating the ready-to-drink icon once the ideal temperature has been reached. The temperature is adjustable with the push of a button; choose 36°F, 39°F or 42°F.

Other features of the BeerTender include a detachable pour handle, detachable draw spout, push button release for inserting the keg, and a removable tray. Tubes are provided with the BeerTender to connect the Heineken DraughtKeg to the tap.
