The Kuhn Rikon Auto Safety LidLifter is a manual can opener that allows you to never touch the lid of your can - ever! Just place the can opener on the can and turn the knob, automatically locking the can opener in place. The jaws on the side of the opener will begin removing the lid. Once the lid is detached, press the white button and the jaws will close on the lid. Once you are over your trash can, release the button and the lid drops right in.
