Tough to break, easy to use, small footprintSummary: I fill my drinking cup, heat the water in it, pour into the maker, wait a short bit, and I get COFFEE, not colored water. Longer wait = stronger coffee. Easy to clean too. They want you to dry it because the strainer is metal and I suspect if you don't dry it, it will eventually rust (but mine has not so far). Nothing to break, no pods of coffee to buy. I am going to get a second one so my wife and I can brew at the same time. We also do not like our coffees the same strength, a perfect solution! It does have some "silt" in the bottom of the drinking cup, but it stays at the bottom, no grounds in your drinking cup.
