The Nu-Wave Pro Infrared Oven is a time-saving, energy efficient way to cook. Foods cook up to 50% faster than conventional methods, and you can cook a 10 lb. frozen turkey in just 2 1/2 hours. The Nu-Wave uses 1500 watts of power unlike a traditional oven that uses more than twice that, saving you up to 85% more energy.
The Nu-Wave Pro features a power head with triple cooking power - infrared, conduction and convection. Infrared power uses radiant heat to penetrate foods, cooking them from the inside out, giving you moist, flavorful results. A coated heating rod helps to enhance the infrared technology. The infrared rays used in the Nu-Wave are similar to what the human body radiates, so they are gentle and safe. Conduction focuses heat directly onto the food for ideal browning, roasting and flavor. The convection cooking selection circulates heat evenly around the food, offering fast cooking and even browning.
The Nu-Wave Pro Infrared Oven features a durable, clear polycarbonate dome lid that lets you view your foods as they cook. The included extender ring will raise the dome so you cook up to a 16 lb. turkey. The Nu-Wave Pro also includes a microceramic baking pan and a dome holder that keeps the power head within reach, yet out of the way while preparing your food. The Nu-Wave base can also be used as a serving tray. All parts, except the power head, are dishwasher safe.
