|  This silicone colander from OXO Good Grips is a handy tool to have in your kitchen. You can use it to drain pasta, berries, veggies, and more. You can also use it as a cooking tool. Measuring 15" long and 6.75" diameter, the colander is heat resistant to 600°F. It is great for blanching, parboiling, and boiling. To use, simply place the strainer on your 3 or 4 quart sauce pan filled with boiling water. Then add fresh vegetables. Once they are cooked to your preference, just lift the strainer and drain. Then insert the strainer and veggies in an ice bath to stop the cooking. This works great for shrimp and dumplings, too.
The colander features stainless steel frame with a soft, non-slip grip handle so it's easy to grasp, even with wet hands. The handle, as well as the hook at the opposite side of the strainer, allow the colander to sit on the rim of your bowl or pot. The silicone colander collapses flat for easy storage. Dishwasher safe.
