The Jura-Capresso IMPRESSA S 9 Avantgarde Espresso Machine is the first S-Series model approved for both commercial and household use. It offers easier and more versatile programming, quieter operation, added convenience features and attractive design enhancements.
The Jura-Capresso IMPRESSA S9 Avantgarde is an upgraded machine for the discerning connoisseur who wants the best in crema coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte and other espresso-based drinks. The Platinum Metallic finish will add style to any kitchen or small business office.
The new low-noise conical burr grinder is quieter than most and has a new built-in bean sensor that alerts the user to refill the bean container before it's empty. The new programming dial makes it easier to customize beverages to taste. The user can even program on the run with the new "a la carte" button, which allows adjustments in coffee strength and cup size while the beverage is brewing, without altering programmed settings.
The machine comes with two stainless steel lined ThermoBlock heating systems, providing maximum performance with no downtime between brewing and frothing. There is no contact between the beverage and aluminum.
The IMPRESSA S 9 Avantgarde has an attractive new stainless steel frothing wand with a bullet point tip. The Dual Frother frothing wand, for at-home baristas who want to steam or froth milk like the professionals, is one of the machine's two frothing options. The IMPRESSA S9 Avantgarde also comes with the frothXpress PLUS system, which automatically produces hot frothy milk or hot chocolate directly into a cup.
The machine's new reinforced adjustable coffee spout accommodates various cup sizes from an espresso cup to a large coffee mug. A new, larger LED display keeps you informed of the status of the machine and displays programming options on demand.
Another S-Series upgrade is the Clearyl Water Filter, which purifies the water just before brewing. It lasts longer and eliminates the need for decalcification.
As with all Jura-Capresso machines, the IMPRESSA S 9 Avantgarde grinds, tamps, brews and self-cleans in less than 60 seconds. IT is also ideal for dispensing hot water for tea or soup or for making frothy hot chocolate form chocolate milk.
