For trussing* using the food loop™, first, snap the segmented cord into the cavity end to form a loop. thefoodloop™ will adjust from 1-inch to a 4-inch loop. For larger diameter food items, such as a roast, snap several of thefoodloops™ together. 6 loops to a box.
*Trussing: To secure tightly, to bind, to arrange for cooking using...thefoodloop™.
Next place the foodloop™ around food, grab finger bars on sides of cavity then with the other hand grasp tail end and pull to desired tightness. Now cook food as needed.
After cooking remove thefoodloop™ by simply pulling up the tail end to disconnect.
Remove any large pieces of food from the cord or the cavity, soak in warm sudsy water or place loops in the mesh dishwasher bag and wash. Then store the foodloops™ in the mesh bag for your next trussing event!
