Kikuichi Nickel Sweden Knives

Kikuichi Nickel Sweden Knives are expertly crafted to be as functional as they are beautiful. This stainless, hand-made series features double-bevel blades made with 45 layers of nickel steel and stainless steel bonded around a Swedish high-carbon steel core. Nickel Sweden Warikomi cutlery offers wonderfully low maintenance with the ultra-sharp performance of a fine Japanese edge. The layered blades are hand-hammered to a dimpled "tsuchime" surface and ground and polished, resulting in a delicate "damascus" pattern with remarkable strength and durability. Every knife is unique. The extremely hard blade core has a Rockwell C60 hardness, with better edge retention and stain resistance than Western knives. Each knife also features an elegant rosewood "D-shaped" handle with a traditional Japanese water buffalo horn guard in a dark, ebony color. This superior craftsmanship means that your Kikuichi Nickel Sweden Knives will retain their edge longer, be more comfortable in the hand, and will outperform any other kitchen knives you own. Hand wash only. Hand-made in Seki, Japan.
