The Wusthof Gourmet Hollow Ground Santoku is precision stamped from no-stain high carbon steel, and ground extra-thin. The edge is cut to a very slight 10° bevel per side for razor sharp cutting performance. Indents along the side of the blade reduce drag for cleaner cuts and help keep foods from sticking to the blade as you chop. The Hollow Ground Santoku is a fantastic choice for fruit and vegetable prep, or boneless meat, poultry and fish prep. It's a wonderful alternative to the western chef's knife as your all-purpose, primary knife. Made in Solingen, Germany and includes a manufacturer's lifetime limited warranty. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.
