These SCA-Certified Home Brewers are among the few that meet the demanding quality standards set forth by the Specialty Coffee Assciation.  Each is designed to brew the highest-quality coffee at home. Developed by coffee scientists and professional tasters, the SCA Certified Home Brewer mark is the most rigorous brewer certification in the industry. Stringent testing for proper water temperature, brew time, uniformity of extraction, and other quality attributes are performed on-site at UC Davis by engineers in their respected and renowned coffee lab.
