This Cafe Du Monde coffee with chicory is the same delicious coffee that is served at the famous Cafe Du Monde Original French Market Coffee Stand in New Orleans. The traditional preparation is 1/2 hot coffee blended with 1/2 hot milk, which creates a delicious cafe au lait. However this can always be adjusted to suit personal taste.

Chicory is the root of endive, a type of lettuce. This root gets roasted and ground and added to the coffee. The distinctive taste of the chicory adds a unique flavor profile to the coffee.
