An instant read thermometer is a tool that no chef would ever be without. It will reveal the temperature of any food within seconds, helping a chef to be sure that the food is cooked to perfection and within a safe temperature range. Ideal for roasts, meats and poultry, the ProAccurate Insta-Read Cooking Thermometer has a temperature range of 0 to 220°F with +/- 2°F accuracy. The 1" magnified dial has a polycarbonate lens that is waterproof and shatterproof and surrounded by stainless steel. The 5" probe is also made of stainless steel. The instant read thermometer includes a protective sheath that can be used as a handle extension. A calibration tool is included on the sheath, should you have to recalibrate your thermometer.
