Pan sauces and gravies made for sautéed foods and roasts are typically made in wide pans, using only a shallow amount of liquid. That's why the Flat Whisk was invented. Its flat design puts more wire in contact with the sauce and on the pan surface, to better break up roux, release fond and generally smooth out more sauce than a traditional whisk could. This 4-wire, 10" Flat Whisk is made from 18/8 stainless steel, with a comfortable round handle and convenient hanging loop. Dishwasher safe.
