The Wusthof 8" Chinese Cleaver is from the Pro Series, an affordable performance line that is specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of professional kitchens. The traditionally shaped vegetable cleaver has a very sharp, fine edge with a scant 15° per side bevel and deep blade that excels at a very wide range of fruit, veg and boneless protein prep. It is easily one of the most preferred and versatile Asian-styles used. The blade is precision stamped from Wusthof's famous X50 CrMoV 15 high-carbon stainless steel, and includes a full tang that provides excellent balance and reduces fatigue. An ergonomic, seamless, non-slip, and really comfortable Santoprene handle is designed for all-day use. The Wusthof Pro 8" Chinese Cleaver is NSF certified, made in Solingen, Germany and backed by Wusthof's limited lifetime warranty. Hand washing is recommended.
