The large 1.75" dial has a polycarbonate lens surrounded by a stainless steel frame and is easy to read. The waterproof, shatterproof thermometer features a color-coded temperature scale on the dial, as well as target range indication. The candy and deep fry thermometer can be recalibrated as needed, and a calibration tool is built in on the sheath.
