The Elis Electric is powered by 6 included AAA batteries and the quiet and fast motor produces a controlled flow of spice. Peugeot uses a non-corrosive, stainless steel mechanism that first crushes, then grinds to size for the most flavor. The grind is easily adjustable from fine to coarse with the patented U Select feature and the acrylic spice chamber refills easily.
