With its high, sloped sides, this pot allows you to reach every corner, making it easy to mix and stir stews more efficiently and with better heat circulation. This deep, versatile shape does it all from simmering brothy soups and braising short ribs, to baking no-knead bread and reducing sauces. The curved body is especially handy for stir frying and cooking one-pot dishes. The updated Chistera drop-structure lid causes moisture to cascade from bowed top, to brim to base, while its cast iron construction ensures the even distribution and retention of heat. The interior is coated with matte black enamel that will not react with foods and cleans easily. This exquisite French pot can go from oven to table without complaint.
